Bah Humbug!

Down at the high street, it’s a frenzy of buying
Some people find it really quite trying
Credit cards creaking with outstanding debt
When we still haven’t paid off last year’s yet!

Fingers rubbed raw from wrapping up presents
Gorging on turkey and duckling and pheasant
Family fights round a tree strung with lights
These are a few of those Christmassy things…
