I’ve been trialing an Owl energy monitor at home and aside from reminding me how much more electricity the kettle uses that any other appliance (other than the hair dryer) it has also been interesting to see how many of my house guests have found it engaging. Most of them were thinking about their wallet but all of them were interested in having one in their own homes to try and reduce their energy use.
