Are you the next Blockbuster?
Posted by: Henry Hicks
I enjoyed this short piece on the Onion News Network: Historic ‘Blockbuster’ Store Offers Glimpse Of How Movies Were Rented In The Past.
It's a cutting little video about the demise of chainstore video rentals, turning a Blockbuster high street store into a museum. And (as with most comedy) it's not far from the truth.
The internet, online rentals and Netflix have done it for Blockbuster.
Climate change and smart, low-carbon businesses will do the same for countless other big fish.
Change happens fast. The good news is it's an exciting time for leaders and innovators.
The rest are history.
(Look at brand tags to see what people associate with the Blockbuster brand.)
